HERE'S ME: pragmatic and dreamy, thoughtful and stupidly selfish. Sometimes stubborn. Self-reliant. Generous. Perceptive and oblivious, opinionated fence-sitter. Sometimes articulate, just as often tongue-tied. Despite contradictions in personality I am med free and mentally stable. I'm a goofball and an oddball, or normal, (depending on who's judging). Can act appropriately adult when required. Love my job; it has blessed me with a lot of things including a kinda twisted sense of humour. Cell phone free, carless- I walk, cycle and take transit. I sometimes snort when I laugh(sorry). I like the smell of wood and earth and fresh air. And bacon. I don't kill bugs(catch and release program in effect). I read a lot but I have a terrible memory, so don't ask me if it was good or not. I sing, really badly. I like hugs and toe-curling kisses.(duh!) Someday I'll learn how to dance, play the cello, and speak another language. My mother still thinks I have potential. WHAT I WANT: I live a mundane life that I would like to shake up a little or a lot. That's where you come in... not expecting or hoping for love, just some good company, a lot of laughs, a bit of romance, an adventure or two. Will say 'maybe' to most suggestions....except a romantic walk in the rain. You go, and I'll be here when you get back, drinking wine in front of the fir...heat vent. YOU: big hearted, strong spirited, curious, insightful, smart, liberal in your thinking. Genuine. Sense of own values. You recycle. Sensitive, but not a sissy.(you won't cry more than me. Please.)You are a terrific dad, if you have kids. You dream about being a hero sometimes. You are physically active-I need someone to get me moving. You enjoy the stuff you have and know how (un)important it is. You can find the funny in everything. Sharp-witted is good. You may need to play air guitar sometimes, and can't resist the urge to dance to funky music. NOT: mean, greedy, aggressive, obese, bigoted or mulleted.
